Meet Mujan Seth and wife, Anwarra Bebe. They have 6 daughters and a son who left the body at age 2. This Bengali family lives in the Harishchandra Ghat, near Shaktidhaam Ashram. Both parents used to earn their living by drawing sand from the banks of the Ganga and hauling it in baskets on their heads to sell in the city. Because it is strenuous work and they are both getting older, Mujan Seth is now a rickshaw driver, a very low-paying job, and Anwarra Bebe works on construction sites. They live in a crowded shack made from bamboo and wood covered with plastic and tarpaulin, along with dozens of other families.

Because of Sai Maa’s humanitarian initiatives, Mujan Seth, Anwarra Bebe and their 6 children can count on eating breakfast 6 mornings a week, receiving family healthcare at the medical camps and enjoying warm, nutritious meals at the bhandaras each month.
