Medical Relief in Kashi, India 2021

January 16, 2021, with the support of the Light Legacy Foundation, the Sai Maa Vishnu Shakti Trust in Kashi, India donated four oxygen generator machines to the Anandmayee Charitable Hospital. During the time of COVID and beyond, these oxygen machines will serve to support the breathing & recovery of hospital patients from very low income areas.

Hunger Relief in Mauritius, 2020

Light Legacy Foundation (operating under its parent organization Humanity in Unity) donated $10,000 and distributed food packets of rice, flour, cooking oil, and dry grains to help those in dire need during the pandemic.

COVID Relief in Kashi, India, 2020

Shortly after the coronavirus pandemic took hold in India, the Light Legacy Foundation collaborated with local organizations and government officials to distribute 1,750 food relief packets to needy families unable to work, such as rickshaw drivers, and roadside sellers. Each packet of rice, salt, sugar, dahl, masala, and cooking oil had enough food to feed 5 people over 15 days.

Empowering the Divine Feminine, 2019

Until recently, Light Legacy Foundation’s mission centered around women’s empowerment programs, working with partners The Women’s Bean Project and Fresh Start Women’s Foundation. Now, through our group of devoted volunteers, we’re focused on serving the most vulnerable among us as we help those impacted by the coronavirus pandemic. Our light, uplifting the world, remains at the forefront of our mission.

Flood Relief in Japan, 2018

As millions of people were evacuated to escape torrential rains and rivers flooding over their banks in Western Japan, Light Legacy volunteers donated $7,250 directly to the immediate needs of victims, many of whom were homeless and stranded without food or water.

Hurricane Relief in Everglades City, Florida, USA, 2017

Dayananda, Jivananda and Jayendra travelled to Everglades City to offer seva (selfless service) in the aftermath of Hurricane Irma.

They spent the day going from home to home offering people their help cleaning up after the flood and damage from the hurricane. One hundred percent of the $6,500 raised was used to help these hurricane victims.
