The Upliftment of Women

Women recognizing their self-worth is key to their
moving forward through difficult life challenges.

Tapping into their innate power enables them to generate
the fortitude and resiliency to build successful lives.

our mission

As a vehicle for the humanitarian work of Her Holiness Sai Maa,
Light Legacy Foundation is deeply committed to the expansion of the Divine Feminine and the awakening of the oneness of humanity.

As our primary focus, we are committed to the upliftment and well-being of women through education and support services,
fueled by donors, volunteers & partners.

We’re asking you to join us in creating a legacy of light!

For just $5 a week two women can attend our offerings for free (including 3 workshops and a webinar series).

These transformative experiences not only help women out of crisis, but allow them to flourish and unleash their innate potential. Your donations will help women to:

     - break free from patterns of abuse

     - move from survival to creation

     - expand what is possible

     - unleash their divine feminine

“The nobility of women, the power of women, the devotion of women, the strength of women, the love of women.  Women carry knowledge, grace, wealth, beauty, wisdom and joy and more.  Allow these attributes, these qualities from within you, from the supreme consciousness residing inside of you, to surface.” - Sai Maa

Helping women help themselves, every woman deserves a bright, happy and safe future where she and her children can thrive. Fresh Start Women's Foundation provides women with education, resources and support to positively transform their lives.  It's helping women to create stronger communities and families.

In our ongoing partnership with Fresh Start, Light Legacy Foundation offers various programs.

Heart Centered Living: Participants have a new understanding of the overall power of the heart, experience the positive impact of being in the heart, and walk away with specific tools to live a heart-centered life.

The Fundamental Shift: From Striving to Fulfillment: This workshop explores how you can achieve a sense of inner fulfillment, rather than feeling a constant need to chase after something outside of you.

Practices for Healthy Living: Bi-monthly webinars for women and staff, including practices related to breathing, mindfulness, meditation, and stress relief.

Women’s Retreat: Taking time away from their daily routine, participants go deep within themselves, replenish, and bring new ideas, energy, and expression into their lives.

Stress Relief Program: The Foundation has assisted with the design and delivery of this ongoing program, offering tools for managing the impact of stress in daily life.

“The breathing session really brought me back into my heart and I felt a deep relaxation. I liked the whole session and think all of this is beneficial.”

“Most applicable for me are guided meditation, divine feminine, and
acts of kindness.”

“I will use the tools given to help make improvement to my life and for my family. Thank you.”

“I finally realize what I have been offering all these years that I couldn’t put into words, that I can appreciate about myself and continue … compassion.”

In partnership with Women’s Bean Project, we offer a self-empowerment program to women they have hired. We do this by teaching simple and useful mindfulness and self-awareness practices that participants can use as they rebuild their lives. These include breathing and heart centering techniques, physical movement, and using their imagination to create a positive future through journaling and personal dream boards.

Women’s Bean Project has passionately worked to change women’s lives by providing stepping stones to self-sufficiency through social enterprise. The organization believes all women have the power to transform their lives through employment, so they hire women who are chronically unemployed and teach them to work by making nourishing products. Through their work at Women’s Bean Project, the women learn to stand tall, find their purpose, and break the cycle of poverty.

The following are articles from different publications related to the political empowerment of women, and the impact of women around the world.

The statistics below about the treatment of women give you a sense of what many women have been facing in the world and what needs to transform.

  • 1 in 3 women worldwide experience physical or sexual violence in her lifetime
  • 33,000 girls become child brides every day
  • Women in rural parts of Africa spend 40 billion hours a year collecting water
  • Women are 47% more likely to suffer severe injuries in car crashes because safety features are designed for men
  • It will take 108 years to close the gender gap
  • Only 6 countries give women equal legal work rights as men
  • The World Bank’s recent Women, Business and the Law report measured gender discrimination in 187 countries.
It found that only Belgium, Denmark, France, Latvia, Luxemburg and Sweden scored full marks on eight indicators - from receiving a pension to freedom of movement - influencing economic decisions women make during their careers.
A typical economy only gives women three-quarters the rights of men in the measured areas.
